The challenge

Simpson Seeds is a buyer, processor, marketer, and exporter of specialty crops such as lentils, peas, and chickpeas. Fun fact: they’ve shipped to over 80 countries worldwide!

As they continued to grow, the team and its HR Coordinator, Twyla Martin, realized it was time to invest in a HRIS when their administrative responsibilities prevented them from accomplishing what they needed to. 

They had multiple systems which caused lots of double entry. “We didn’t want needless paper and tedious processes. We thought ‘there has to be a better way,’” Twyla explains. “That’s when we started searching for something that would allow us to store and manage HR data all in one place.”

The solution
