For Aline, Director of Culture and Digital Solutions, Encepta is where she can use her expertise to solve problems for her team so that they can in turn, take better care of their clients. One of the biggest challenges Aline faces in her role is software adoption. So, when she was looking for a solution while managing the hiring of over 100 employees, she knew she needed a platform that was intuitive, scalable, and easy to onboard.
Aline’s team needed a people operations solution that could tackle the whole employee journey: from recruiting to tracking time off to payroll to performance management. Previous to discovering Humi, Aline and her team worked with ADP. Some of the biggest challenges she faced were related to navigating a difficult-to-use system that took several hours to complete simple tasks, yet the final results were still riddled with errors. That, coupled with the lack of support from the ADP team, made the whole experience rather negative for Aline.
“It wasn’t a good experience. It caused a lot of issues between our HR and finance departments. Worst of all, we weren’t assigned a dedicated customer support person so during support calls, we would get redirected a bunch of times and nobody there really understood our company and what we needed.”
When Aline and her team decided they needed a better solution, they started exploring other options in the all-in-one HR space. An alternative they had their eye on was BambooHR.

“Humi is always improving their platform. I like having the upvote feature so I can share with the team what I really care about. I really feel heard here. And, the support library is awesome. I can easily copy and paste it to our internal library which helps keep employees engaged.”
Without having to worry about tasks her HRIS is now taking care of, Aline can spend more time working on her people strategy which includes learning and development and hiring more employees. Not to mention, the HR and finance teams at Encepta can now confidently pay their people accurately on time, every time.
“We wouldn’t have been able to hire 100+ employees using the processes and software we were on before. With Humi, recruiting is so much easier. When candidates move from applicants to employees, everything is already there and set up in the system.”
Aline was also happy to share that unlike her experience with ADP, employees actually like using Humi.
“Employees have found it super easy to track and book time off with Humi. Most never even logged onto ADP so this was a big win.”
