Remote work is here to stay. Five features to help in 2021.

Last year, we all got hit with unexpected changes. Organizations had to pivot and demonstrate unprecedented adaptability to accommodate a new way of working. As many were forced into a remote environment, we also shifted our way of thinking to build and improve tools to help you adapt.

Here are just five ways we shifted our focus to better serve you as you remotely run your business.

Asset Tracker

The need

With companies struggling to send out masses of equipment to accommodate entire organizations working from home, we created Asset Tracker for organizations to record and monitor company assets.

How it helps

Asset Tracker allows you to stay on top of all company assets. Keep track of company computers, keycards, phones, and more, all side-by-side with the rest of your HR data.

  • Assign company assets to employee profiles for a convenient one-stop shop for all employee data.
  • Record the nitty-gritty details. You can track categories, descriptions, serial numbers, and dates assigned and returned for each asset.
  • The historical asset log allows you to record and track the asset, displaying a historical log of every employee who previously used each asset and its condition at the time.

Training Tracker

The need

Tracking employee training isn’t fun – it’s another spreadsheet, a bunch of calendar reminders, and missing reports. And with no more in-person opportunities, tracking the completion of training and keeping employees accountable is even more complicated.

How it helps

Training Tracker helps you digitally track and store employee training information, all while keeping employees accountable to complete the training.

  • Stay up to date by status tracking both one-time and recurring training programs.
  • Send and receive notifications. Notify employees about outstanding training and create email reminders about pending training before they're overdue.
  • Keep information in one place by storing employee training information alongside the rest of your employee data.
  • Upload training files. Attach completion confirmations and certifications to finished training programs.
  • Automated training reports. In the case of an audit, be ready with instant training reporting.

Multiple Signer Documents

The need

We heard that companies are struggling to find an easy and collaborative way for multiple employees to sign a single document without chasing people down and overwriting changes.

How it helps

Multiple Signer Documents allows companies to send, sign, and store documents with multiple signers. This is especially useful during employee onboarding.

  • Send and store documents at any point in the employee lifecycle.
  • Have easy access to employee documents by attaching them to employee profiles.
  • Add up to three co-signers to a document template.

Employee Onboarding Tasks

The need

With high costs and countless hours dedicated to employee onboarding, and especially now that most companies are remote, adopting a digital onboarding process is essential.

How it helps

Employee Onboarding Tasks, the newest addition to our employee onboarding software, helps recruiters and hiring managers tame the mental load of remembering what needs to be done and eliminates the need to chase employees down.

With employee onboarding streamlined, they can focus on more important things – getting their new hires up to speed and retaining them.

  • Create and assign onboarding tasks from employee profiles.
  • Monitor the status of each task and remind assignees.
  • Keep your workflow by assigning onboarding tasks from the employee onboarding flow.
  • Create automatic employee onboarding checklists based on global filter criteria, such as role and department.
  • Keep a historical log of completed tasks on the employee profile.

Employee Offboarding Tasks

The need

Knowledge is often lost when employees leave companies, which can be costly, and poor employee offboarding can lead to adverse last impressions, or even legal implications.

How it helps

Employee Offboarding Tasks makes for a smoother offboarding process. With tasks pre-defined per role and department, you can make sure that assets and knowledge are transferred to the company prior to the employee leaving.

  • Offboard and assign tasks from the employee profile.
  • Create automatic employee offboarding checklists based on global filter criteria.
  • Monitor the status of employee offboarding tasks and remind assignees.
  • Keep a historical log of completed tasks on the employee profile.
