What is SRP?

Surgical Risk Protection (SRP) is accidental death insurance for covered procedures. In the event of death during surgery, SRP provides a death benefit to your beneficiary(ies).

Why would I add SRP to my benefits if I already have health, life, and/or AD&D?

Health, life and AD&D are great parts of benefits packages. When confronted with surgery, many employees want to top up their Life Insurance coverage which is hard to do until after the current surgery is completed. Many AD&D policies included in employee benefits exclude accidental death during surgery from their coverage. SRP offers employees a quick and inexpensive way to increase their coverage by up to CAD $200k.
