Benefits

Optional, non-wage compensation provided to employees in addition to their standard wage or salaries. This may fall under a group benefits plan, which helps employees cover the costs of things provincial health care plans may not pay for like certain prescription drugs, dental, vision, hospital, paramedical, and ambulance services. Benefits also include disability income protection, sick leave, vacation, funding of education, retirement benefits, and any other work perks the company puts forward.
